Quickstart

Install MailAgent from the Google Workspace Marketplace. Then open it in Gmail and configure your first agent.

If you’re on a managed Google Workspace domain, your admin may need to allow installation.

Install from Google Workspace Marketplace

Open the Marketplace listing

Go to the Google Workspace Marketplace.

Search for MailAgent.

Install

Click Install.

Pick the Google account you use for Gmail.

Grant permissions

Review the requested permissions.

Click Allow to finish installation.

Open MailAgent in Gmail

Open Gmail (web)

Go to https://mail.google.com.

Launch the add-on

In the right-side panel, click the Add-ons area.

Select MailAgent.

Basic setup (recommended)

1. Configure which Gmail labels the agent should watch. See Labels.

2. Choose Drafts vs Auto-replies. Start with Drafts.

3. Set your Prompt (voice + rules). See Prompt.
